Riverwalk Surgery Center opened in 1997 to provide outpatient orthopedic surgery, pain management and anesthesia services. Procedures performed are deemed appropriate and approved by the Governing Body. Licensed by the State of Florida and certified by Medicare, the facility accepts payment from Medicare and Medicaid, as well as private carriers and contracts with managed care organizations.

The Center is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC). The staff of Riverwalk Surgery Center, Inc. recognizes Universal Moral Principals and the Principles of Professional Ethics as elaborated in the ANA“Standards of Peri-operative Clinical Practice” and the “Standards of Peri- operative Professional Performance”. Both the Medical and Professional Staff also follow the state’s practice acts Ethical Standards as guidelines in our practice.

With headquarters in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, the HCA Mountain Division is a leading healthcare system in three states. Branded as MountainStar in Utah, our healthcare system includes eight hospitals in that state along with two in Idaho and one in Alaska.

To increase access to high-quality patient care, our system also includes a freestanding emergency department, 10 stand-alone surgery centers, three satellite imaging centers, and nearly 60 physician clinics.
